So, I’ve been away for a bit, haven’t I? It’s been a weird few weeks for me. I’ve been to Paris and really went through an emotional rollercoaster these past few days. Honestly, my life is going all the way and it feels like it’s forgetting to take me with it. Does that sound weird? It’s the only way I can explain how I feel right now. By the way, happy autumn. My favourite season! Spoopy scary skeletons, leaves, sweaters, hot chocolate. Loooove.
I adore Beauty and the Beast. The ‘remake’ with Emma Watson is my favourite, but the original is also such a gem. I think it’s pretty high up my list of favourite Disney films. Recently I’ve been listening to the soundtrack a lot, too. So, what better tag do to than a Beauty and the Beast Booktag? Exactly, none!

A Tale as Old as Time: A popular theme, trope, or setting you will never get bored of reading.
Even though I barely got through the first book, I’m going to say The Mortal Instruments by . I’ve really grown to love it and am now halfway through the third book. It’s sooo lovely.
Belle: A book you bought for its beautiful cover that’s just as beautiful on the inside
The Iron Trial by Holly Black & Cassandra Clare. I received the first book for free, but bought them all in a newer edition, solely because they looked so pretty. It’s a interesting story and to popular belief, not at all like Harry Potter storywise.
Beast: A book you didn’t expect much from but pleasantly surprised you.
The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. It didn’t seem very impressing at first, but I ended up really liking it. It’s so funny and accurate. I recommend it! The end is so cute. I have yet to read the second book, then again, I have yet to read so many books.
Gaston: A book everyone loves that you don’t.
Fun fact: I was listening to this song while writing so I had a good laugh. That book would be The Elite by Kiera Cass. Don’t get me wrong, I loved The Selection for as long as it revolved around America. When the storyline was picked up by her daughter (this was totally intentional and not because I couldn’t remember her name and couldn’t be bothered to look it up. Real bloggin’ proffesional) it just didn’t appeal to me anymore. I’m sorry, Kiera!
Lefou: A loyal sidekick you can’t help but love more than their counterpart.
Whooops Gabriel in the Half Bad series by Sally Green. I have talked about these books a lot, I’m aware, but they’re so good. I know you have to fight through the first book a bit, but it’s worth it. Now, Gabriel. He’s sweet, he’s kind, patient and a great flirter and boyfriend. Nathan was a bit too problematic for me, but Gabriel was just right.
Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, and Cogsworth: A book that helped you through a difficult time or taught you something meaningful.
The Catastrophic History of You and Me. Again, talked about this a lot but it’s so important to me. You need a little bit of a background story here. I can’t deal with death. It frightens me (to death. Hah, puns) and I think about it more than I should. Not my death, but others’. My biggest fear is people around me dying, which sucks, because it’s such a plausible fear. It’s not like giant spiders or snakes. When I was young, a lot of people around me died and I think that’s where that fear comes from. This book deals with death without throwing the ideas of religions or atheists off. It’s quite a fresh look on it and this book really made me feel every emotion.
“Something There”: A book or series that you weren’t into at first but picked up towards the end.
Half Bad! No, I’m kidding. (but not lying) An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir. I haven’t finished it, but am halfway through and enjoy it much more than I did when starting.
“Be Our Guest”: A fictional character you’d love to have over for dinner.
So, there’s this book I’m working on. In that book there’s one character named Eden. He’s broad, has light green eyes, brown hair and omgggg…. Totally crushing on my own character. Who hasn’t, honestly?
That’s it! About the last question, I currently have 37 250 words. If I ever get the guts to upload it, my Wattpad is NoteTrack, which I’m still very active on. If you have any questions or remarks, feel free to comment them!
Until the next one 🙂
