Hello everyone! Day 11 of Blogmas, I’ll be doing another tag because I like doing them. Today I’ll be doing the Dashing through the Snow book tag because it’s snowing here in the Netherlands and I love it. Here’s the link where I found the tag: https://www.google.nl/amp/s/thebookishunderdog.wordpress.com/2016/12/18/dashing-through-the-snow-book-tag/amp/
1. Name a book you would like to see under the Christmas tree.
You know that very expensive hardcover box set from the Lord of the Rings which is about €150 or something? Well I would love that but I won’t do that to my parents 😜😂
2. Name a book you’ll be reading during the Christmas season.
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie which I just read for the very first time, here’s a link to my review about it: http://thebooksandcoffeeblog.com/murder-on-the-orient-express-spoiler-free-review-amber/
3. Name your favourite Christmas film.
Technically they are not Christmas films, but I love watching the Sissi films (about empress Elisabeth of Austria and Hungary) and the Harry Potter films because they are always on tv during the Christmas break.
4. Do you like snow?
Yes! I love it very much. We barely get snow anymore because of the climate change, and I used to ice skate and play in the snow a lot when I was a child. Now I love to read or work in my bullet journal when it’s snowing while listening to music and enjoying a cup of coffee or hot chocolate milk!
5. Name a character you’d love to spend Christmas day with.
Gandalf the Grey! I think we would sit around the fire and tell each other stories. If you hadn’t noticed yet I love the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings and I think sir Ian McKellen portrays Gandalf so well and to me he looks just like an amazing and funny grandfather. I don’t know, I would just love to spend Christmas with the entire Hobbit and Lord of the Rings characters! Also, here in the Netherlands we actually have 2 days of Christmas, I don’t know why but I like it!
6. Do you prefer to give or receive?
Gift! I know exactly what my family likes and finding the perfect gift for them and when they open the gifts and I see their faces lighting up, it makes my heart warm. My family is my everything and I would do anything for them.
7. What fictional place would you like to spend Christmas at?
Camp Halfblood when everyone is there! I can already imagine everyone sitting around the fire, drinking hot chocolate and just friendship in the air!
8. Fondest Christmas memory?
I don’t know. My family doesn’t go big with Christmas gifts, we each get around 2 or 3 and that’s fine with me. Also each year is kind of the same, so I would say all memories.
9. Can you say ‘Christmas tree’ 10 times in a row, pronouncing it correctly?
No, but I’m wearing a retainer right now so I blame that! 😂😂
Good night! And see you tomorrow with a new post!
