December Wrap-Up & January TBR

Hello everyone! It’s Amber! Can you believe 2017 is already over? I can’t, this year just flew by. Today I’ll share my December Wrap-Up and January TBR with you. This reading month was a lot better than Novembers reading month. Let’s start!

December Wrap-Up

  • Frost like Night by Sara Raasch, 4 out of 5 stars. This was the conclusion to the Snow Like Ashes trilogy. I thought the first book was very strong and the second book was a bit lacking in comparison but the third book made it all up again. We were moving quite quickly and even though Meira knew what was coming she was still strong, really liked this one and finished it during the ReadathonbyZoe.
  • Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie, 5 out of 5 stars. This book was my first Agatha Christie ever and it has me craving for more! I didn’t know what to expect, except for what the synopsis said. I loved it, it was a really quick read and very well written. I can’t wait to read more of her books! Read and finished during the ReadathonbyZoe.
  • A Storm of Swords part 2: Blood and Gold by George RR Martin, 4 out of 5 stars.
  • The Novice by Taran Matharu, 5 out of 5 stars. Easily one of my favourite reads of this year, a review will be coming soon!
  • War of the Cards by Colleen Oakes, 5 out of 5 stars. An amazing conclusion to the end of an amazing series. For this book, a review will be coming soon as well!

January TBR

I plan to read 75 books in 2018 and because I still have winter break I’m going to try and get a headstart for the rest of the year!

  • Lifeblood by Gena Showalter
  • The Fellowship of the Ring by JRR Tolkien
  • Iskari; the Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli
  • Im Westen nichts Neues by Erich Maria Remarque
  • The Inquisition by Taran Matharu
  • Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell
  • The Dazzling Heights by Katherine McGee
  • The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

That’s it for today!
