#ReadathonByZoe My Experience – Amber

Hello everyone day 9 of Blogmas was actually yesterday but I was too busy with reading, which is why today you’ll be getting 2 blog posts. In this one, I’ll be sharing my thoughts and experience on the ReadathonByZoe.

At exactly 12 o’clock/midnight, I started reading in Frost Like Night by Sara Raasch (I started on page 149), I read until 00:37 because I felt really tired. I read exactly 50 pages, so until page 199. Then I slept until 10:18, I think I started reading again around 12 o’clock. I had some breaks in between reading because I was setting up my Christmas tree 😀 Anyways I finished reading Frost Like Night around 19:15. Then I read nothing until 19:45 because I was debating what I should read, at 19:30 I hosted a Twitter poll for 30 minutes with the choices of reading Murder on the Orient Express or continuing A Storm Of Swords, I had about 5 votes (4 for Murder on the Orient Express and 1 for A Storm of Swords) and I myself felt more like reading Murder on the Orient Express. So I started reading it and finished it around 23:30 (not really sure about it, it may have been a bit earlier). I truly loved it and I’ll be seeing the film next weekend.

I really like doing readathons, I was really happy that Zoë was hosting one again. The book community is the best! Everyone was so nice and we were all motivating each other! As for the reading, I have done I was also really happy, in total I read:

  • Frost Like Night 3,75 out of 5 stars.
  • Murder on the Orient Express 5 out of 5 stars.
  • A total of 531 pages.

I’ll be doing a couple more readathons this December because I want to achieve my Goodreads goal.

This was really nice to do and I hope another one will be soon!
