Hello, lovelies! It’s about time to do another tag and this time we’ll be doing the Book Courtship tag. Let’s get started!
Phase 1 – Initial Attraction: A book that you bought because of the cover?
I think either Eleanor & Park or Fangirl, both by Rainbow Rowell. I love them very much.
Phase 2 – First Impressions: A book that you got because of the summary?
The Selection by Kiera Cass, it really got me. It is original and fluffy and romantic and ugh!
Phase 3 – Sweet talk – A book with great writing?
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. For example the (inside) jokes, the feels, the sassiness and just everything.
Phase 4 – First date: The first book of a series which made you want to pick up the rest of the series?
Definitely The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
Phase 5 – Late night phone calls: A book that kept you up all night?
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. MY HEART STILL ACHES
Phase 6 – Always on my mind: A book you could not stop thinking about?
With this one I have to say Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell again, I relate a lot to Cath and it just really got me thinking about social anxiety and friendships. Yes, I have social anxiety if you didn’t already know.
Phase 7 – Getting Physical: A book which you love the way it feels?
My copy of the Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey, I accidently bought a different publisher than the publisher I bought from with The 5th wave and the Last Star, still, it feels so soft!
Phase 8 – Meeting the parents: a book which you would recommend to your friends and family?
The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. This book is all about adventure and stepping out of your comfort zone, plus Gandalf <3
Phase 9 – Thinking about the future: A book or series you know you will re-read many times in the future?
The Mortal Instruments and the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, The Selection by Kiera Cass and the Hobbit by JRR Tolkien.
Phase 10 – Share the love: who do you tag?
Anyone who wants to do this tag 🙂
If you decide to do this tag as well, comment a link to your post about and we’ll check it out! Did you see any of your favourite books or series? Let us know as well!
